About the Role:
· We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Account & Business Development Manager, to join our growing Occupational Health Team.
· This role is responsible for developing New Business opportunities, while managing and growing relationships with an existing Portfolio of Clients.
· The successful Candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities and ensuring our Clients receive exceptional Service and strategic support. This is an excellent opportunity, for a relationship-focused Professional, who enjoys Consultative Selling and is passionate about helping Organisations improve the health, wellbeing and productivity of their workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
· Identify, develop and secure New Business opportunities across Public and Private Sector Organisations.
· Generate Leads through Networking, Referrals, Marketing Campaigns, Tenders and Proactive Prospecting.
· Conduct Client Meetings, Presentations and Service demonstrations.
· Prepare and deliver tailored Proposals, Quotations and Tender responses.
· Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close New Business opportunities.
· Achieve and exceed Agreed Sales and Revenue Targets.
· Provide day to day Management, including Leadership, Guidance and Support to Marketing Executive.
· To assist Management in completion of Tender Documentation.
Account Management:
· Manage a Portfolio of existing Client Accounts, ensuring high levels of Client satisfaction and retention.
· Develop long-term relationships with Key Stakeholders and Decision-Makers.
· Conduct regular Account Reviews, to understand Client objectives and identify opportunities, for Additional Services.
· Respond promptly to Client enquiries and resolve issues in collaboration with The Operations Manager and /or Clinical Team Manager.
· Ensure Contract Renewals are managed effectively and on time.
Commercial Growth:
· Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Occupational Health Services including:
o Management Referrals.
o New Employment assessments.
o Absence Management.
o Wellbeing Services.
o Employee Assistance and Wellbeing Solutions.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
· Support the development of New Service offerings, aligned to Client needs.
Relationship Management:
· Build strong relationships with HR professionals, Health & Safety Managers, Procurement Teams and Senior Business Leaders.
· Represent The Organisation at Networking Events, Exhibitions and Industry Conferences.
· Act as a trusted Advisor, providing consultative guidance on Occupational Health Solutions.
Leadership & Team Management:
· Provide day-to-day Leadership, Guidance and Support to The Marketing Executive.
· Work collaboratively with The Marketing Executive, to develop and deliver Marketing Campaigns, that generate high-quality Sales Leads and increase Brand awareness.
· Set Objectives, monitor Performance and Support the Professional Development of The Marketing Executive, through regular one-to-one Meetings and Performance Reviews.
· Ensure Marketing Activity aligns with The Organisations’ commercial Objectives, Business Development Strategy and Sales Pipeline requirements.
· Collaborate with The Marketing Executive, to produce compelling Marketing Materials, Digital Content, Case Studies, Client Communications and Promotional Campaigns.
· Monitor the effectiveness of Marketing Initiatives, analysing Campaign Performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Foster effective communication between the Sales, Marketing and Operations Manager, to ensure a consistent Client journey and maximise Business Growth opportunities.
Internal Collaboration:
· Work closely with The Management Team, Clinical, Operations, Finance and Administration Teams to ensure seamless Service Delivery.
· Maintain accurate Records within the CRM System.
· Produce regular Pipeline, Sales and Account Performance Reports.
· Contribute to Sales Strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

Person Specification:
Essential:
· Proven experience in Business Development, Account Management and Business to Business (B2B) Sales.
· Demonstrable success in achieving Sales Targets.
· Strong Negotiation and Presentation Skills.
· Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building abilities.
· Commercial awareness with a Consultative Sales approach.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM Systems.
Desirable:
· Experience within Occupational Health, Healthcare, Employee Benefits, HR Services or Wellbeing Sectors.
· Understanding of Occupational Health Legislation and Workplace Wellbeing.
· Experience responding to Public Sector Tenders and Procurement Frameworks.
· Knowledge of NHS, Local Authority or Corporate Procurement Processes.
· Relevant Sales or Business Qualifications.
