We are looking for a Membership and Group Sales Officer to join our Sales and Ticketing team.
Reporting to the Senior Sales and Ticketing Manager, you will play a key role in growing and retaining RSC Membership whilst helping to develop group bookings across our Stratford-upon-Avon performances and events. You'll work closely with colleagues across Sales and Ticketing, Audience and Marketing and Development to deliver effective membership activity, group sales campaigns and travel trade partnerships that support audience growth and revenue generation.
Key responsibilities include (please see the Role Profile for the comprehensive list):
Managing day-to-day Membership administration, including Direct Debit processing, renewals and reporting.
Supporting the recruitment and retention of individual, group and education members.
Working with marketing colleagues to deliver targeted CRM campaigns using Tessitura and Prospect2.
Developing and delivering initiatives to increase group bookings and grow audiences.
Building and maintaining relationships with group organisers, tourism partners and travel trade contacts.
Making outbound sales calls to promote current and forthcoming productions and events.
Managing group allocations, reservations and payment deadlines.
Supporting the planning and delivery of group sales and travel trade events and fairs.
Analysing sales data and customer insights to identify opportunities and improve performance.
Providing Box Office support, including group and education bookings during busy periods.
Championing excellent customer service and effective cross-selling across the RSC's offer.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
Experience working in a Box Office, membership, customer service or sales environment.
A proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Confidence building relationships with a variety of customers and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
A keen eye for detail and experience handling financial information accurately.
Comfortable using databases and ticketing systems, ideally Tessitura.
Enjoys analysing information and using data to improve performance.
The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
This role is offered as a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working either onsite or remotely. The telephone lines are open from midday until 6pm, however, there is some flexibility for this role to start and finish earlier.
