Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and EXPERIENCED Takeaway Assistant/ Counter staff to join our team.(Tuesday,Wednesday, Friday,Saturday,Sunday from 5/6-10pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with daily shop operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Customer service: Welcome customers, take food and drink orders in store and via phone.
- Food preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish cooking simple food items according to food safety standards.
- Order fulfillment: Serve food and drinks, pack orders for takeaway, and ensure customers have everything they need.
- Point of sale: Operate a till and process payments (cash, card) accurately.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the serving and eating areas clean, tidy, and restocked, which can include clearing tables and washing dishes.
Skills
- English language required.
- Experience in similar role is OBLIGATORY.
- Barista experience advantage.
Pay: £10.00-£13.50 per hour
