Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a well-paid, permanent maintenance role without travelling between sites?
We’re recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join the estates team at a major healthcare facility in Wishaw. You’ll work within a large and technically varied environment, maintaining the electrical systems and infrastructure that keep essential services operating safely.

The role
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults across electrical systems and equipment
- Complete electrical testing, inspection and remedial works
- Maintain plant, equipment and building infrastructure
- Carry out minor electrical installations and improvements
- Test wiring systems, emergency generators and critical equipment
- Complete work orders, test certificates and maintenance reports
- Provide technical support to colleagues and contractors
- Support apprentices and maintenance assistants when required
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
What you’ll need
To be considered, you must have:
- 18th Edition
- A completed electrical apprenticeship or an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 equivalent electrical qualification
- Commercial electrical maintenance experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- The ability to work independently and prioritise urgent work
- A safe and professional approach

Experience within hospitals, universities, airports, manufacturing facilities or other large and complex buildings would be advantageous.
Experience with generators, emergency lighting, BMS, HVAC or other building services would also be useful, although additional training can be provided.
