Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, toys, furniture, and equipment are sanitized regularly to meet health standards
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with safety protocols
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within childcare or educational settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
