Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Bridport, Dorset, currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience who is looking to further their career within a varied role, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
-Preparing accounts for a wide range of clients
-Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
-Building and maintaining strong client relationships
-Working closely with managers and colleagues across the practice
-Assisting clients with accounting software queries, including Xero and QuickBooks
-Supporting with personal tax, corporation tax, payroll, and audit work (depending on experience)
Requirements
-Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
-Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent organisation and attention to detail
-A positive and proactive attitude
