Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of supporting various aspects of construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple trades and develop a broad skill set within the construction industry. All positions are paid, including internships, and applicants must hold a valid CSCS card.
Duties
- Assisting with general site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
- Supporting tradespeople with their tasks, including roofing, plumbing, and electrical work
- Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assisting with masonry, plastering, carpentry, and fabrication tasks as required
- Preparing sites by setting up scaffolding or temporary structures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Following schematics and technical drawings under supervision
- Supporting construction painting and other finishing activities as needed
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic site equipment is desirable
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, or carpentry is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to read schematics or technical drawings is beneficial
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour throughout long shifts is required
- A valid CSCS card is essential for employment in this role
