Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate the taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or heavy items when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes or local attractions as needed.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes.
- Conduct routine safety checks before each shift to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
- Follow company policies and procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with commercial driving or delivery driver background.
- A council badge is required.
- Driver must be in Perth or surrounding areas that will be easy to relocate.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with passenger transport is advantageous. We also offer an assistance in getting a license.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation systems.
- Experience handling heavy lifting or assisting passengers with mobility needs is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers.
