We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, patient-focused, and highly experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to join our tight-knit clinical team and help maintain our 4.9-star patient satisfaction reputation.
The Role
As an experienced member of our nursing team, you will do much more than basic chairside support. You will be a vital pillar of the patient journey, working alongside principal clinicians—including Lead Dentist Pieter Claassen—to deliver flawless clinical care and anxiety relief.Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advanced chairside assistance across multi-disciplinary treatments, including complex restorative work, porcelain veneers, dental implants, and facial aesthetics.
- Leading by example in HTM 01-05 compliance, infection control, and keeping our digital practice running seamlessly.
- Guiding nervous or dental-phobic individuals through their treatment plans with active empathy, pacing, and reassurance.
- Coordinating seamlessly with our front-of-house reception and treatment coordinators to maintain a calm, stress-free clinic flow.
- Mentoring or supporting trainee dental nurses within the practice when required.
What We Are Looking For
- GDC Registration: You must be a fully qualified Dental Nurse with active GDC status.
- Deep Experience: Extensive proven track record working in a busy, high-end private or mixed practice environment.
- Clinical Versatility: Prior experience assisting with advanced treatments (implants, surgical extractions, or cosmetic smile makeovers) is highly advantageous.
- The "Calm & Gentle" Touch: A naturally warm, empathetic, and patient demeanour. You excel at de-escalating patient anxiety.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with digital dental workflows, digital charting software (e.g., SOE/Exact), and digital imaging.
- Reliability: Superior organizational and communication skills, with a strong work ethic.
