Kitchen Porter / Pot Washer no experience needed.
85 Secret Garden is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Pot Washer to join our kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team and is looking for regular part-time hours.
The Role
- 25–30 hours per week
- Must be available daytime and afternoon.
- Flexible availability is preferred
- Washing pots, pans, plates and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen, washing-up area and storage areas clean and organised
- Helping the kitchen team with basic cleaning and preparation duties
- Following food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Supporting the chefs and wider team during busy service
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours
- Positive and willing to help wherever needed
- Previous kitchen porter or pot-washing experience is preferred but not essential — full training can be provided.
Hours & Pay
25–30 hours per week
Day and afternoon shifts available
Pay: National Minimum Wage
