We are looking for one or two volunteers to assist our very friendly team for up to 8 hours per week on either every or alternate Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays; You would be helping us work with some of the dogs being treated under our care.
We do not require any formal training as the successful candidates will be offered training and much practical support from very experienced practitioners. We look for you to demonstrate an affinity for the animals and empathy to owners as you would be working with our animals at a very early stage.
We encourage and would assist the right person to progress with a long term view of joining our team, should that be desired.
The position may ideally suit a current or ex-student undertaking an Animal Management Diploma since it will provide plenty of structured work experience working closely with our dogs.
Our centre is not near public transport so you will need to be able to commute to our centre in Nasty..
Pay: £0.01-£0.02 per hour
