We’re looking for an experienced Aluminium Estimator / Contracts Manager to take ownership of exciting commercial and residential projects from enquiry through to completion. Responsibilities
Prepare accurate quotations for aluminium window, door and curtain walling projects.
Produce detailed take-offs, bills of materials (BOMs), pricing and quotations using Logikal.
Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Price projects across a wide range of aluminium systems.
Manage projects from initial enquiry through to final handover.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Place material orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor project progress, budgets and programme schedules.
Identify and resolve technical or commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Support the continued growth of the business through excellent customer service and commercial awareness.
Skills
Proven experience estimating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling projects.
Advanced knowledge of Logikal software, including take-offs, BOMs, pricing and quotation generation.
Strong understanding of aluminium glazing systems and products.
Experience managing contracts from enquiry through to completion.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
