Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, standards, and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, appliances, and workstations
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed
- Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, plating, and presentation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and techniques used in professional cooking
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed

Pay: From £13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 42.0 per week
