Join our dynamic team as a Wellhead Service Technician as one of our major global providers of oil and gas equipment and subsea systems has urgent roles for the UK North Sea and other global locations.
Applicants need to be available mid Sept for mobilization. Essential Wellhead surface experience needed along with having valid North Sea certificates including BOSIET (CA-EBS), OEUK and MIST. Min 4 yrs field experience required. (This role may lead to a full time employed role).
This energetic position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with complex wellhead systems, perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
Your expertise will directly contribute to maximizing productivity while maintaining the highest safety standards across diverse field environments.
- Support and execute on a daily basis activities including but not limited to, preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of clients products.
- Perform calculations and checks on and offshore such as, space outs, status of equipment, test pressures etc.
- Work independently or in a team as a professional service technician to install products and conduct repairs and or maintenance of clients, and other brands, of equipment and maintaining assets of equipment as per maintenance manuals.
- Ensures all equipment, service tooling, backup and spare parts etc are on location and ready to use and fit for function prior to each job starting.
- Ensure the Field Service Reports and other associated reports are completed with all required information, timing, part and serial numbers, type of equipment, issues faced, FNCR's etc.
- Maintain communication on a high level and on a daily basis with internal and external company.
- Representative on issues including job procedures, spare part requirements, critical dimension measurements. Suggestions to improve on safety and or the operation, etc.
- Completes Field Non-Conformance report (E-FNCR) forms. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated to the clients Service Coordinator.
- Constantly strive for improvement of safety, knowledge, professionalism and customer service.
Applicants will need to be able to travel internationally when required.
Day rate will be paid in GBP and subject to IR35 conditions.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Wellhead Service Technician or in a similar oilfield maintenance role is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of wellhead equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical controls, and pressure testing procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and operational manuals with ease
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex machinery
- Valid certification or training in wellhead technology, hydraulic systems, or related fields is advantageous
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel frequently to field sites

Pay: £55,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
