Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable towing professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing plant hire/ welfare units and ensuring smooth operations at our service locations. Your expertise in driving and towing will be essential to providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety standards. Experience with plant hire / welfare units and towing is ideal but not essential as training can be given.This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the towing / plant hire industry, contributing to a reliable and professional service environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles and related equipment to transport plant hire /welfare units to designated cutomer locations.
- Assist customers when needed with equipment delivery and collection
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment before and after towing to identify any damages or issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members and management to coordinate towing schedules and updates.
- Adhere to all tachogrpah and HSE standards at all times.
- Maintain accurate company records.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operations at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with towing plant hire /welfare units or in commercial driving roles is desirable but not essential.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
