We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Main Duties
- Support the care, learning and development of children aged 0–5 years.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing nursery environment.
- Act as a Key Person and build positive relationships with children and families.
- Plan and support activities in line with the EYFS.
- Complete all coursework and requirements of the apprenticeship.
- Assist the nursery in meeting Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
- Carry out general nursery duties, including snack preparation, cleaning and setting up activities.
- Undertake any reasonable duties delegated by the Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
Requirements
- Eligible to undertake a Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or willingness to achieve as part of the apprenticeship.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Caring, reliable, organised and enthusiastic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative, flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Applicants must be 17 years or older.
