As a Compliance Monitoring Apprentice, you will support the Compliance and Quality team with a range of activities designed to ensure the organisation continues to meet aviation regulations and internal standards. This will include helping to plan and organise internal compliance activities, supporting audits across maintenance, stores, workshops and other departments, recording audit findings and monitoring corrective actions through to completion. You will also assist with maintaining audit schedules, compliance databases and records, as well as preparing reports, presentations and compliance information.
The role will provide you with the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of important aviation regulations, including EASA Part-145, UK Part-145, Part-M and Part-66. You will help monitor regulatory changes, review company procedures and maintain accurate regulatory documentation. You will also support investigations into quality events and audit findings, assist with identifying root causes, and help develop improvements to processes and procedures by analysing compliance data and identifying trends.
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will complete your apprenticeship training and assignments and attend relevant regulatory, compliance and company training. You will build your knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations, aviation safety and compliance systems, while working towards becoming a competent compliance monitoring professional. The role requires professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and strong attention to detail, while contributing to a positive quality and safety culture across the organisation.
