Overview
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Key Account Manager/Solution Sales Engineer to join a growing Chinese technology company specialising in smart home and IoT hardware solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, solution sales, security systems, smart home technology, IoT, property technology (PropTech), or related industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, understanding customer requirements and supporting the growth of smart home and access control solutions across the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver technical marketing activities including webinars, exhibitions, and product demonstrations
- Develop tailored solution proposals, presentation materials, and competitive analysis reports
- Support new market and client development alongside the commercial team
- Participate in commercial negotiations, partnership agreements, and order acquisition to meet regional sales targets
- Analyse client requirements and deliver optimal technical solutions to maximise win rates
- Identify new sales opportunities and support business growth
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable technology solutions
- Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver effective solutions
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals and support customer discussions
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Collect client feedback and competitor intelligence to drive continuous product and service improvement
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Experience selling technology products, hardware solutions or technical solutions is highly desirable
- Experience working with IoT, smart home, security systems, electronics or related industries would be advantageousCandidates with a technical background who have moved into sales are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience in overseas markets or independent project delivery is a strong advantage
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and demonstration skills
- Strong competitive analysis and project management capabilities
- Professional-level English as primary working language
- Results-driven with strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Must hold the right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- This role may involve customer site visits and technical demonstrations
