Responsibilities
- preparing legal documents and correspondence related to disease cases
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Conduct research on medical records, scientific literature, and relevant regulations to support case development
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and internal teams via email, phone calls, and written reports
- Manage deadlines using Microsoft Outlook and other organizational tools to ensure timely submission of filings
- Review medical records and summarize complex information
- Support the coordination of depositions, court filings, and other legal proceedings as needed
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document preparation and data management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of IT systems used for case management and document storage
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Prior experience as a paralegal
