About the role
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team, working directly with children and young people in the community. You’ll provide consistent support, guidance and mentoring that builds independence, confidence and wellbeing — helping create an environment where every young person feels valued and heard.
This is a permanent position with genuine scope to develop your mentoring and support skills.
What you’ll do
- Build trusting, reliable relationships with the young people we support
- Assist with day-to-day activities, meal preparation and recreational outings
- Deliver tailored support plans that promote emotional wellbeing and social development
- Mentor young people through positive reinforcement, developing life skills and confidence
- Support educational and learning activities matched to each young person’s needs
- Observe and accurately record changes or concerns, communicating clearly with colleagues and families
- Promote a safe, inclusive environment and follow health and safety guidance
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
