About Wilds Lodge School
Welcome to Wilds Lodge School, a specialist, therapeutic weekly boarding and
day school for learners with unique learning profiles aged 5-19 years old. We
welcome boys and girls (girls are accepted as day learners only) primarily with
social, emotional and mental health needs.
Set across two sites, Wilds Lodge (Primary) and Crossroads (Secondary and Post-
16), we are located in the heart of the Rutland countryside. Situated just outside
Stamford, the school is set within extensive, beautiful grounds with an additional
boarding accommodation for our Post-16 learners in Stamford town.
Our mission is to nurture every individual’s strengths, build lasting connections, and
prepare learners with the confidence to step into their future and make valuable
contributions to society.
At the heart of what we do are six core values that shape our approach and guide us in
helping our learners navigate their unique journeys. These values are the foundation of
how we operate, make decisions, and interact with our learners, families, and wider
community.
We understand that the road to success is rarely straightforward. It can be full of twists
and turns, and unexpected challenges often arise. That’s why we combine proactive,
learner-centred planning with the flexibility to adapt dynamically to individual needs.
Our approach ensures that every learner is met where they are, with pathways tailored
to their strengths and aspirations to help them achieve their full potential.
