Project Coordinator – Aluminium Windows & Curtain Walling
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–4:00pm | Friday, 8:30am–1:00pm

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team, working within the commercial aluminium glazing and curtain walling sector.
This is a varied role supporting the delivery of commercial glazing projects from order stage through to installation. The successful candidate must have previous experience working with aluminium window and curtain walling systems and a good understanding of the products, terminology and processes involved.
The role would particularly suit someone who already has some CAD experience or an interest in developing their technical skills. As the role develops, we intend to provide further training with the aim of the successful candidate progressing into the production of CAD drawings for client approval and manufacture.
Main Duties
- Processing orders for aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems
- General project coordination and administration
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, site teams and internal staff
- Assisting with material take-offs and procurement
- Checking project information, specifications and drawings
- Monitoring orders and deliveries against project programmes
- Maintaining project documentation and records
- Assisting Project Managers with the day-to-day running of projects
- Producing and updating project schedules and information
- Developing towards the production of CAD drawings for client approval
- Helping ensure projects progress smoothly from order through to installation
The Ideal Candidate
You will have previous experience within the aluminium window, door and curtain walling industry. This is important, as we are looking for somebody who already understands the products and processes involved rather than somebody completely new to the sector.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience working with commercial aluminium glazing systems
- A basic understanding of CAD/AutoCAD
- The ability to read and understand construction and architectural drawings
- Good organisational and project coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills when dealing with clients, suppliers and site teams
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
