Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using efficient serving techniques
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation, handling, and serving
- Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for billing and change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, bar area, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest needs
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest service
- Knowledge of serving techniques and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for handling payments and balancing tabs accurately
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales goals
- Previous culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
