Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tyre Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our customers’ vehicles in top condition, providing excellent service and technical support. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to ensure proper fitment and safety standards.
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and tread depth; advise customers on suitable maintenance or replacement options.
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment procedures to optimize vehicle handling.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as tyre rotations, pressure checks, and valve replacements.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tyres and wheels during installation or removal processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer details for each service.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering professional advice to clients.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to tyre fitting and vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the workday.
