County Foods is a successful and well-established supplier of quality meat products, delicatessen items, and dry goods to the catering industry. Based in Poole, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly office team.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent service and ensuring orders and enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming customer calls and providing outstanding customer service
- Processing customer orders accurately and to specification
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Directing calls to the appropriate department or team member
- Liaising closely with field-based Sales Representatives and delivery drivers
- Producing and processing invoices
- Promoting special offers, new products, and seasonal promotions to customers
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Providing general administrative support to the customer service team
We are looking for someone who is:

- Able to process information quickly and accurately
- Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems

Previous experience in customer service is desirable. Experience within the foodservice, hospitality, or catering industry would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
30 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Plus one in four Saturdays: 6:00am to 11:00am (an additional 5 hours in the fourth week)
Contract
6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.

Salary: £13 per hour (£20,280 pa)
