This is an exciting opportunity to work and gain experience in all aspects of nuclear medicine in a large London teaching hospital. The role is to support the team of medical physicists and the department more widely in nuclear medicine imaging, radiopharmaceutical therapy, radiation safety and non-imaging tests. The department also has a long history of innovation and research. As a member of the team you will be exposed to this and have the opportunity to get involved.
- Actively contribute to the work of the Nuclear Medicine Physics team through a high standard of technical support
- Contribute to the provision of Medical Physics Assistant rotas across the Nuclear Medicine Department, including Molecular Radiotherapy
- Comply at all times with the Trust’s and Department’s systems, procedures and tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in radiation protection; specifically including Local Rules for Radiation Safety, conditions of EPR Permits, IRMER Policies and Employer’s Procedures.
- Attain and maintain high professional standards at all times in their execution of the duties of the post. Work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, with a demonstrable commitment to participating fully in the delivery of a professional, high-quality clinical service.
