Location: Based at our Leicester Office, with nationwide travel to our sites.
Salary: From£40,000 Dependent on Experience
Hours: Full-Time, 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday

We are a leading HGV training school with 15 locations across the nation, committed to delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our students and the industry. Position Overview:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes across all 15 sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and continuous improvement of our training programs. This role will involve working closely with site managers, instructors, and external auditors to maintain the highest standards of training delivery and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes across all sites to ensure compliance with Ofsted, DfE, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Prepare for and coordinate inspections and audits, ensuring that all sites are ready for Ofsted and DfE visits.
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures to align with current regulations and best practices.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor the implementation of quality standards and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collect, analyse, and report on data related to training outcomes, learner satisfaction, and compliance metrics.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
Training & Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality standards, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Support site managers and instructors in implementing best practices and improving the quality of training delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within the training programs and work collaboratively with site teams to implement changes.
- Lead initiatives to enhance learner experience and outcomes, ensuring that our programs meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including Ofsted and the DfE, to ensure our training school meets and exceeds regulatory expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact for quality-related queries and issues, providing expert guidance and support to all staff members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a quality management role, ideally within an educational or training environment
- A strong understanding of Safeguarding, working with vulnerable adults and British Values.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and DfE regulations and standards.
- Experience in preparing for and managing external inspections and audits.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce detailed reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate staff at all levels.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for maintaining high standards.
Desirable:
- Experience in the HGV training or broader vocational training sector.
- A relevant qualification in quality management or education.
