We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a well-established company. The successful candidates will be responsible for multiple building , construction and construction refurbishment, fit-out projects and managing teams.
Key requirements:
- Significant experience of construction projects, experience in Utilities sector also an advantage
- Experience in managing stand-alone projects
- The ability to manage and prioritise workloads and work within pressurised environments
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact at all levels
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant Quantity Surveying / construction specific qualifications
- A driving licence / flexibility to travel for site visits as and when required
- Experience in Measuring
- Experience in Subcontractor appointments
- Proven record in invoicing and final accounts
- You must be qualified in Quantity Surveying preferably to degree and/or further education level with minimum 5 years’ experience. You will possess Quantity Surveying expertise within the Construction & Building sector.
- You will also possess the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects from a QS perspective, within a fast paced Construction & Contractor environment. Flexibility to travel to UK sites/projects is required.
