We’re looking for a practical, hands‑on Product Development Technician to join our growing engineering team at Viewpoint Videos. If you enjoy building things, solving problems, and working across CAD, electronics, prototyping, and assembly, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting product development with CAD updates, prototyping and testing
- Building assemblies, wiring electronics, and preparing products for production
- Operating 3D printers and workshop tools to create prototype parts
- Troubleshooting issues and helping improve designs and processes
- Providing general engineering support across the business
What we’re looking for
- Practical engineering mindset and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes
- Experience with CAD (Fusion 360 or similar)
- Mechanical assembly and fabrication skills
- Basic electronics
- Confidence using workshop tools and 3D printers
- Experience working in a project management environment
- Someone who enjoys variety and getting stuck in
