Responsibilities
- Managing patient records and ensuring accurate data entry in accordance with NHS protocols
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow to optimise clinic efficiency
- Handling correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and postal communications
- Assisting with the typing of patient letters
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations at all times
- Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies
- Liaising effectively with medical staff, patients, and external agencies to facilitate seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven office experience, ideally within a healthcare or public sector environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and urgent requirements
