About the Role
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our team on a variety of residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects across the UK. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who enjoy working outdoors and supporting skilled trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople and site management with daily construction activities.
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials and equipment.
- Preparing work areas and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site.
- Carrying out manual handling tasks safely.
- Assisting with site set-up and dismantling.
- Operating hand and power tools where trained and authorised.
- Removing waste and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Following instructions from supervisors and site managers.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
- Supporting general site operations as required.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred but not always essential.
- Experience in a labouring role or similar manual work is advantageous.
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work.
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Labourer Card (Green) or higher.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
The following are beneficial but not essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own transport.
- Manual Handling training.
- Asbestos Awareness certificate.
- Working at Height training.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Traffic Marshal (Banksman) qualification.
- PASMA or IPAF certification.
- Face Fit certification.
