Leigh on Sea based, same day courier company looking for self-employed owner drivers to work with our busy team.
We provide an urgent collection and delivery service to various company's in the Southend and Basildon areas. Delivery destinations are varied including local, London and nationwide. Most jobs are simple one drop from A to B
Applicants must be reliable and able to communicate efficiently in English (both verbally and in writing). Vehicles (motorcycle, car or small van) must be in good condition, ULEZ compliant, reliable and well maintained.
Applicants MUST reside in the Southend to Basildon areas as jobs are urgent with a maximum 30 minute pick up time. Due to the required insurance, you would need to be over 25 years of age.
Flexible hours available to suit from the odd day to a full 7 day week/night. You would be on standby during your chosen hours. Each job is paid on an ad hoc per job/per mile basis (similar to a Taxi driver).
Anyone with spare time can apply. The role is ideal for early retired/semi retired persons looking for something to do whilst earning extra cash. Or for persons with another flexible job to work alongside.
