Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide support for a female family member aged 66 in their home environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring well-being, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living space. Duties
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting mobility and daily routines to promote independence
- Preparing meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Administering medication as prescribed
- Providing companionship and emotional support to the family member
- Managing household tasks including light cleaning and organisation and fulfilling the general domestic tasks that the family member would undertake but for her disability
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in health or behaviour
- Communicating effectively with family members regarding care needs and updates
Experience
- Previous experience of caring for a person with severe disability is required
- Requires a caring attitude and the ability to adapt to the specific needs of the family member. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality support within a home setting.
Pay: £169.15 per day
