Join our IT Service Desk now as a 1st Line Service Desk Engineer on a Fixed-term Contract / Secondment basis for 12 months, where you’ll resolve a wide range of technology issues encountered by our colleagues across the organisation. Utilising your problem-solving skills, you’ll provide an effective customer focussed 1st line support service across all of our business systems and equipment, from telephony to desktop applications and everything in between! A key part of your role will be logging, updating, progressing and resolving incidents and service requests from colleagues and contractors meeting or exceeding defined targets.

Our ideal candidate? We’re looking for a customer focused and ambitious individual who has a genuine interest in all things Technology – importantly you’re willing to learn! The following skills and experience will also pique our interest:
- You’ll have practical work experience in an IT Helpdesk/Service desk role.
- You’ll have experience of working with a range of IT assets including hardware, software, applications and telephony systems.
- You’ll have experience of using a ticketing system.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent time management, a talent for multi-tasking and prioritising workload.
This role will involve working on a rota consisting of working times 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm based at our Birmingham, Bath Row office.
