We re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to help keep our communities looking their best. Every day is different, and you ll play a key role in maintaining attractive, safe, and welcoming outdoor environments across our neighbourhoods.
From landscaped gardens and playing fields to communal green spaces, you ll enjoy working as part of a supportive team that takes real pride in the difference it makes.
What you ll be doing
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you ll carry out a variety of grounds maintenance and horticultural tasks across GreenSquareAccord-owned land, including:
Maintaining landscaped areas, communal gardens and playing fields.
Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning and general horticultural work.
Working safely in line with team risk assessments, policies and procedures.
Using grounds maintenance equipment and machinery.
Working closely with colleagues across Housing, Commercial, Responsive Maintenance and Empty Homes to deliver a high-quality service.
What we re looking for
You ll be someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering excellent standards, and enjoys being part of a hardworking team.
You ll need:
Experience in grounds maintenance or horticultural work.
To live locally to Wednesdbury
A positive attitude with a strong focus on health and safety.
Awareness of COSHH, Manual Handling and safe working practices.
A full UK driving licence (shared company van provided).
Desirable (but not essential)
