Job Summary
Working alongside isoLogic's experienced consultants, you will support organisations throughout the UK in developing, implementing and continually improving their Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental (QHSE) management systems.
This is a development role designed for someone who is passionate about management systems, enjoys solving problems and wants to build a long-term career in ISO consultancy. You will receive training, mentoring and practical experience whilst supporting clients working towards and maintaining certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will gradually take ownership of projects, undertake audits and develop into a trusted consultant.
The role includes (but is not limited to):
- Assisting with the development and review of management system documentation
- Supporting senior consultants with consultancy projects
- Assisting with internal audits
- Preparing draft audit reports and client documentation
- Assisting with management review meetings
- Supporting clients with document updates and continual improvement activities
- Supporting Health & Safety consultancy activities where appropriate
- Researching legal and ISO requirements
- Writing articles and technical guidance for the company website
- Maintaining accurate project and consultancy records
- Travelling to client sites alongside senior consultants
The role is flexible around the consultancy projects and will involve both working from home, travel to isoLogic offices in Surrey and to client sites. The occasional overnight stay might be required, and reasonable notification will be provided. A full driver’s license is required for the role, and access to a vehicle.
Job Responsibilities
Initially, responsibilities will be undertaken with support from experienced consultants.
- Support senior consultants in delivering consultancy projects
- Learn how to develop practical management systems that work for clients
- Assist in carrying out internal audits
- Help prepare audit reports and improvement plans
- Assist with management review meetings
- Support the maintenance of legal registers
- Review client documentation for accuracy and consistency
- Build positive working relationships with clients
- Respond to client enquiries professionally and promptly
- Keep accurate records using isoLogic systems
- Continue developing knowledge of ISO standards and UK legislation
- Attend external certification audits as an observer before progressing to supporting clients independently
Skills and qualifications
Essential
- Good understanding of ISO management systems (through education or experience)
- Experience working within an ISO-certified organisation
- Experience of writing procedures or management system documentation
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong report writing and document drafting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients
Desirable
- Internal Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
- Environmental qualification (or working towards)
- Experience within Health & Safety, Quality or Compliance

- Complete Lead Auditor qualifications
- Develop practical auditing experience
- Learn additional ISO standards, including ISO 27001, BS 99001 and ISO 19443
- Develop Health & Safety consultancy skills
- Progress to an ISO Management Systems Consultant role

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
