EJ Facilities Ltd is a growing facilities management and property maintenance company providing planned, reactive and emergency maintenance services across residential developments, commercial properties, retail parks and managed estates.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Property Maintenance Labourer to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within the property maintenance industry.
The Role
Working alongside our experienced maintenance operatives, you will assist with a wide range of property maintenance and refurbishment works across residential and commercial properties.
No two days are the same, and you will play an important role in ensuring our clients' properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planned and reactive property maintenance works.
- Support multi-skilled operatives across a variety of maintenance projects.
- Load, unload and transport tools, materials and equipment between sites.
- Prepare work areas before maintenance works commence.
- Remove waste materials and maintain clean, safe and organised working environments.
- Help with painting and decorating preparation.
- Assist with minor repairs and general labouring duties.
- Support basic carpentry, plumbing and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Carry out lifting, moving and manual handling of materials.
- Assist with external property maintenance, including fencing, gutter clearing and general site upkeep.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or additional works identified on site.
- Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied residential and commercial properties.
About You
The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated and willing to learn.
You should:
- Have previous labouring or property maintenance experience (preferred but not essential).
- Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be punctual, trustworthy and well organised.
- Take pride in producing high-quality work.
- Be willing to undertake training and develop new skills.
A Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
