We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Admissions Advisor to coordinate admissions activity and provide high-quality support throughout the applicant journey. This role combines admissions operations, applicant guidance, interview coordination, post-offer administration and recruitment activity within a fast-paced environment.
The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £18.80 per hour + holiday pay
Key Duties:
- Coordinate day-to-day admissions processes, ensuring applications are processed accurately and in line with policies and GDPR requirements
- Provide expert guidance to applicants, offer holders, faculty and colleagues on admissions requirements and procedures
- Manage applicant communications and admissions inbox activity, delivering a high standard of customer service
- Coordinate interviews and selection processes, including schedules, documentation and stakeholder liaison
- Manage post-offer administration, including offer conditions, confirmations and progression towards enrolment
- Produce CAS documentation and process financial declarations in line with regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate admissions records and student systems, resolving routine system issues
- Support recruitment, open days, webinars and other admissions events
- Contribute to yield and retention activities and update recruitment materials and web content
- Coordinate admissions projects and events, monitoring associated resources and budgets
- Identify operational issues and contribute to improvements in admissions processes
- Provide operational cover and deputise for senior colleagues when required
Selection Criteria:
- Experience working within admissions, student administration or a similar customer-focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex information clearly
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively within a team
- High attention to detail when handling confidential and sensitive data
- Strong IT skills with ability to learn and use bespoke systems
- Strong commitment to customer service with cultural awareness and professionalism
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends or travel where required
