SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Streatham, SW16
Daily Rate: £90 per day
Hours: 8am – 4pm | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (Temp-to-Perm) – Initial temporary contract with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.

A Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
This role will initially be offered on a, temporary basis from September giving you the opportunity to get to know the school, the pupils and the team while they get to know you.
The school's intention is to offer permanent contracts to candidates who demonstrate they're the right fit during this initial period, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career in specialist education.

The Role
You'll work closely with teachers to provide personalised support for pupils with SEN and SEMH, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Your day could include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Helping deliver engaging and creative learning activities
- Encouraging independence, confidence and resilience
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Building trusting relationships with pupils and their families
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to help every child succeed

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Has supported children with Special Educational Needs
- Is patient, caring and resilient
- Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
- Is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or autism is desirable, but above all we're looking for someone with empathy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for making a difference.
