Pinnacle Care is looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Night Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our friendly team at one of our specialist dementia care homes in Rugby.
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in making sure our residents feel safe, comfortable and reassured throughout the night.
Night shifts can be quieter than days, but the care you provide is just as important. You’ll get to know our residents as individuals, understand their routines and preferences, and be there to provide personal care, reassurance or simply a familiar face when someone wakes during the night.
We’re looking for people who take pride in providing genuinely good care. Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker is welcome, but it isn’t essential – if you have the right attitude and a genuine interest in caring for others, we’ll provide the training and support you need.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our night team, you will:
- Support residents with personal care and individual night-time routines
- Help residents maintain their dignity, independence and comfort
- Provide reassurance and companionship to residents who may be anxious, confused or unsettled
- Carry out regular wellbeing checks and respond promptly when residents need support
- Assist with mobility, repositioning and continence care where required
- Maintain accurate care records and provide clear handovers to the day team
- Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, person-centred dementia care
- Help keep the home safe, calm, comfortable and welcoming throughout the night

- £150 induction bonus following successful completion of your induction training

Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of care experience to make a great Care Assistant. What matters most is that you are:
- Kind, patient and compassionate
- Reliable and someone your colleagues can depend on
- Calm and reassuring, particularly when supporting someone living with dementia
- Respectful of residents’ dignity, choices and individuality
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit night team
- A good communicator with a professional approach
Previous experience in a care home, dementia care, residential care, healthcare or support work would be an advantage, but isn't essential as full training will be provided.
