Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe/Deli Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with daily cafe operations. Duties
- Greet customers warmly ensuring a friendly atmosphere at all times.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and drink items, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low stock levels.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, following the cafe’s cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Address customer enquiries and complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
- Strong organisational abilities to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in a cafe, deli or hospitality setting is preferred
