Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic CSCS Landscaper to join our full-time team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional outdoor environments that meet project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and machinery, and contribute to high-quality landscaping projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and turf care to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces
- Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools for planting, edging, trimming, and other landscaping activities with precision and care
- Assist with construction projects involving garden beds, pathways, fencing, and other landscape features
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Follow project plans and specifications to deliver high-quality results within scheduled timelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and power tools
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, construction techniques, and general gardening practices
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape aesthetics
- Valid CSCS card or willingness to obtain one prior to employment is required
