Summary
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with particular learning, social and emotional needs in and beyond the classroom. This post is term-time only, 30.25 hours per week (with a half hour unpaid lunch break ). The successful candidate will, under the teachers clear guidance, support the education, personal and social development of individual pupils/small groups in the class.
The closing date is 30/06/2026 at 12 noon

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age.
- Ability to relate well to children.
- Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.

- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment.
- Experience of Administrative work.
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
