Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a harmonious and efficient working environment for our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for culinary excellence with a knowledge of Japanese food.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure high standards of service are met.
- Assist in the training and development of team members, fostering a positive work culture.
- Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee quality and presentation align with our standards.
- Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring it meets health and safety regulations.
- Assist with bartending duties during peak hours, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels for food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and ability to assist cooks as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
