Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our premises. This role requires a versatile individual with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to supervise and lead maintenance activities. The successful applicant will contribute to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our environment through proactive maintenance and repairs.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building structures
- Repair and replace damaged or faulty equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Assist with installation of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client requests promptly and professionally
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Experience
- Experience within industrial or commercial settings would be advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and clients.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
