M&J Metal is a growing London-based metalwork company looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team full-time.
We specialise in gates, railings, security grilles, fencing, staircases and bespoke architectural metalwork.
Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding gates, railings, grilles, fencing and other bespoke metalwork
- Measuring, cutting, drilling, welding and assembling steel
- Working accurately from drawings and site measurements
- Ensuring finished work is strong, accurate and finished to a high standard
- Assisting with installation on site where required
- Working independently and as part of a growing fabrication team
- Taking responsibility for tools, materials and workplace safety
Requirements
- Previous welding and metal fabrication experience
- Confident MIG welding and general steel fabrication skills
- Able to measure and fabricate accurately
- Experience making gates, railings or architectural metalwork is highly desirable
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence desirable
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Pay: £18–£25 per hour depending on experience
Location: London
This is a permanent position with an opportunity to become a key part of a growing metalwork business.
Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
