Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our team. Applicants must hold Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications or be working towards Level 3.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of massage treatments including Swedish, aromatherapy, and other specialised therapies tailored to client needs
- Conduct skin analysis and deliver appropriate facial treatments, body wraps, and exfoliation services
- Provide holistic therapies such as reflexology or aromatherapy to support client wellbeing
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitisation in all treatment rooms and equipment, following health and safety guidelines
- Carry out personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments
- Keep accurate and confidential records of treatments and client progress
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, customer service, and confidentiality at all times
- Support retail sales by recommending skincare or wellness products where appropriate
- Contribute to maintaining a calm, welcoming, and hygienic spa environment throughout operational hours
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Spa Therapist or similar role within a spa, salon, or wellness environment
- Certification in massage therapy, skincare therapy, or holistic therapies recognised by relevant professional bodies
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and a variety of therapeutic techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs
- Ability to work flexibly within a team while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
- Experience in retail sales or product recommendations is beneficial but not essential
