Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the care home, ensuring smooth delivery of services and adherence to care standards
- Lead, motivate, and support care staff to provide high-quality senior care tailored to individual needs
- Develop, review, and update personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality assurance procedures
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and supervision to maintain an efficient and motivated team
- Administration of medication
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and external agencies to ensure transparent and compassionate interactions
- Utilize IT systems to document care activities, update resident records, and track progress efficiently
Requirements
- Proven supervising or leadership experience within a care home or senior care environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents and team members
- Knowledge of care planning processes and regulatory standards in residential or elderly care settings
- Familiarity with IT systems used for documentation and care management
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and professional development
- Experience in developing or implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
