Parts Adviser – Carmarthen Dealership
Cawdor is looking for an organised and customer-focused Parts Adviser to join our Carmarthen dealership.
If you have experience in stock control, parts, warehousing, customer service or a delivery environment, we would love to hear from you. This varied role combines parts administration with customer-facing duties, offering an exciting opportunity to become an important member of our dealership team.
Key responsibilities
As a Parts Adviser, you will:
- Order and supply parts and accessories to retail and trade customers, as well as internal departments.
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and other external organisations.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to maximise sales and profitability while minimising obsolete stock.
- Ensure warranty-displaced parts are labelled and handled in accordance with manufacturer procedures.
- Report any warranty returns or rejections to the General Manager.
- Assist the Service Manager with reception and other front-desk duties.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Contact customers to arrange and confirm service appointments.
- Make follow-up calls to ensure customers are satisfied with the service they have received.
- Help ensure the Parts and Service departments operate efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience in stock control, parts, warehousing, customer service or a delivery-based environment.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused manner.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable and proactive approach to work.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am–1:00pm
- Overtime opportunities may also be available.
