Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team, supporting the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical projects across London and the South East.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or similar commercial role within construction, ideally within the M&E sector.
Job Role & Responsibilities
Manage the commercial delivery of allocated projects from set-up through to completion.
Prepare budgets, cost plans, CVRs, profit forecasts and cash flow reports.
Monitor project P&L and commercial performance alongside operational leads.
Manage variations, valuations, payment applications and contract close-out.
Approve subcontractor and supplier payments.
Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.
Work closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Attend client progress meetings and undertake regular site visits.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide commercial advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role.
Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
Construction industry experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual requirements.
Experience with cost planning, CVRs, forecasting and cash flow management.
Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
M&E / Building Services experience.
Experience delivering retrofit, refurbishment or new-build projects.
Experience working across London and the South East.
